About Becky

Becky Druhan is the MLA for Lunenburg West, and Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development.  She was first elected in 2021.  

A skilled lawyer who has represented hundreds of clients and has had career experience in the operation and regulation of many services, Becky is honored to use her unique skills in service of our community and province.  During the 20 years since her call to the bar:

• She has fought for individual needs - like successfully advocating for change in care provider practices to protect vulnerable clients with mental health needs. 
• She has represented businesses and organizations - providing strategic legal advice while running complex litigation, labour relations and dispute resolution files. 
• She has worked within government and organizations to improve services - like leading programs to expand the availability of nursing, home and community care. 

Becky and her husband live in Italy Cross with their two children and their dog, Jane Mason.
